We Three Kings

  1. We three kings of Orient land, bearing gifts we travelled afar, field and fountain, moor and mountain, following yonder star.

  2. Oh star or wonder star of night, star with royal beauty bright, westward leading still proceeding guide us to thy perfect light.

  3. Born the King on Bethlehem’s plain, gold I bring to crown him again, King forever ceasing never, over us all to reign.

  4. Franchicense to offer have I, incense own a deity night, prayer and praising all men rising worship him God most high.

  5. Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume, breathes a life of gathering gloom, sorrowing, singing, bleeding, dying, sealed in the stone cold tomb.

  6. Glorious now behold him rise, King and sacrifice, aleluya aleluya earth to heaven replies.
