  1. We can clap or tap rhythm of words

  2. The words can be short of long sounds

  3. These short and long sounds make the rhythm of the words

  4. Rhythm is made up of combination of short and long sound

  5. The regular repeated pattern your heart throb or when clapping/tapping is called a beat in music

  6. A beat is a regularly repeated sound.
