Grade 1- Weather and Sky

Observing the Sky. During day and at Night.

At Daytime;

During the day we are able to see things such as:

1. The sky.

2. Sun.

3. Clouds.

4. Moon.

Sky

1. It is the free space we see above.

2. Mostly it is blue in colour.

3. It has clouds in it.

Sun

1. Sun gives us light.

2. We use light to see.

3. Sun also gives us heat.

4. Heat keeps us warm.

5. We use heat from sun to dry our clothes and crops.

Clouds

Clouds have different colours.

Some are grey, others are white in colour.

Some clouds give us rain.

Other clouds do not give us rain.

Moon

Sometimes we can see the moon during daytime.

At night;

We see.

The sky at night

The sky at night

The moon at night.
