What is Chemistry?
Chemistry is one of the three Science subjects. The other two subjects are Biology and Physics.
Chemistry is the study of the structure, properties and composition of matter and the changes that matter undergoes.
States of matter and its properties, mixtures and their methods of separation and drugs are studied under Chemistry.
The study of Chemistry involves carrying out experiments, making observations, analysis, interpretation and making conclusions.
There are many branches of chemistry. The five main branches are considered to be:
(i) Organic Chemistry,
(ii) Inorganic Chemistry,
(iii) Analytical Chemistry,
(iv) Physical Chemistry, and
(v) Biochemistry.
