Folk Dance Performance Etiquette

  1. Dress appropriately, the costumes should be fitting

  2. Avoid Talking as this distracts the performance

  3. Avoid staring, mocking or booing when a participant makes a mistakes.

  4. Maintain enough space between the participant to avoid collision

  5. Avoid standing or dancing close to the edges of the stage

  6. Ensure the stage is clear of any objects

  7. Keep the floor clear and dry

  8. Handling all the props properly during a performance

  9. Avoid pushing or stepping on other participants

  10. Always accept and acknowledge the applause from any audience.
