  1. Mood

Refers to the feeling or emotions that a person feels when listening or singing a song.

Mood can be sad, happy, angry, exciting etc


2. Facial Expressions

Refers to how one’s face appears when singing and dancing

They help capture the meaning and mood of the song.

They make the song interesting


3. Diction/ Articulation

This is the correct pronunciation of words properly when singing


To get good diction you should:-

  1. Pay attention to the vowels and consonants in the words

  2. Pronounce all the endings of the words in the folk songs

  3. Have good breath control during singing


4. Tone

Is the quality of sound.

When singing, sing with round voice/ tone


5. Gestures

These are actions used when singing to show what you mean


Waving your hand indicates “hello” or “goodbye.” A head nod means “yes,” whereas shaking your head side-to-side means “no.” Putting a raised finger to your lips tells others to “be quiet.
