Causes of Kidney Disorders

A kidney disorder is a term used to include any kidney abnormality.

Kidney disorders can affect the ability of the body to clean blood, filter out extra water from the blood and control pressure.

The disorder can also affect the production of red blood cells.

 

Examples of kidney disorders are:

  1. Kidney stones.

  2. Nephritis.

  3. Kidney failure.

  4. Chronic kidney diseases.

 

Causes of Kidney Disorders.

  1. Diseases of the immune system, for example diabetes.

  2. Long-lasting illness such as HIV and AIDS and hepatitis B.

  3. Some infections that affect kidney may come from other parts of the urinary tract, such as the bladder, ureter or urethra.

  4. Defects prefect at birth may block the urinary tract or affect the kidneys.
